SPEAKER: Jesse is the youth and young adult pastor at The Lighthouse Church. Jesse has been part of The Lighthouse for 8 years.

He leads a dynamic group of young people and students and is responsible for preaching, teaching, strategy and pastoral care for the youth and students in the church.

Jesse also has a team of like-minded, dedicated young people who support him in the vision of building the Church of tomorrow today.

SPEAKER: Bajo has a bachelor’s degree in history. His involvement in Jesus House dates back to 1994. He was ordained an assistant pastor in 1995 and a full pastor in 1999 and served as assistant to the senior pastor until early 1997 when he moved to Brighton, East Sussex to set up Peace Haven Christian Fellowship, a parish of Jesus House.

In August 2001 he returned to Jesus House as Youth Pastor responsible for the 16 -21 year olds, and is currently the director for youth ministries (which encompasses TM4.12 for ages 13 – 15 and Raised Up in Christ (RUC) for ages 16 – 21). He is the National Co-coordinator for Youth of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (UK).

Bajo also oversees ReConnect (the young adults’ ministry) and the Singles Ministry.

#FOCUS2017 was a retreat hosted by OGGM where the is helping young adults find their purpose and deal with transitional stages of life, (leaving university, finding a job, early stages of professional life)
The retreat will hosted around 100 people who all had an opportunity to network, leave thier stresses and burdens, and pressures of everyday life and in turn get some down time and soak up God’s word.
Ultimately the goal of the retreat was that the delegates would leave with a clearer sense of focus and purpose during the transitional stages of life.

This retreat was for anyone at university, finding work, in the early stages of professional life, or simply just working and thinking about how to get priorities in order. During the retreat, delegates were given the oppourtinty to hear from high profile speakers such as Pastor Agu Irukwu, Pastor Baj Akisanya, Jessie Willis and many more speakers. They were also taught by over 15 leading thinkers and spiritual leaders over a range of topics, including but not limited to,

– Honouring God at work
– Figuring out how to establish a life purpose
– Living with purpose and making the most of your gifts
– Confirming whether you are in the right career
– Pursuing creative/entrepreneurial interests alongside full time work commitments
– Managing your finances
– Managing Purposeful Relationships

My Celebration Of Gosepl (MCOG) is a night of live music, poetry, spoken word, dance and so much more. it is an event which was created as a means to celebrate all things gospel.We host a relaxed night of live music in a basement club as a fundraiser to support the work of spreading the gospel to all nations. We invite guest artists from across the country, to help us with the amazing night that focuses on the Celebration of Gospel Music! MCOG is a night that explores the diverse talents and unparalleled creativity of Gospel artists! You get a chance to hear Gospel music from award winning artists with debut songs and covers of gospel greats! MCOG is an event had is roots in Manchester but earlier this year took place in East London due to a high demand for MCOG to move down south.
